How to book a private yacht in Alanya, and what happens if the sea turns

To book a private yacht in Alanya, send a request for your date with the number of guests and the occasion. We reply to confirm the booking and give you the pickup time, and you settle the price in euros on the day itself; nothing is paid online. You can cancel without charge until 48 hours before the trip begins, and on the day the captain makes the call after looking at the sea and the weather.

The booking in four steps

Booking the yacht is a request, not a purchase. That suits occasions well, because you can ask your questions before anything is fixed.

  • Choose a date and send the request from the yacht page
  • Write the number of guests, children's ages and the occasion in the Requests field
  • Wait for the team to confirm the booking and the pickup time
  • Pay on the day, in euros

What the confirmation tells you

The confirmation is the moment the day becomes real. It fixes the date and gives you the pickup time for the round-trip transfer from your hotel in central Alanya.

We do not print departure times on this site, because the pickup time is set with each booking. If you are staying outside central Alanya, ask before you book, so the confirmation covers your pickup as well.

Read the confirmation carefully when it arrives. Check the date, the number of guests and the hotel name; a mistake is far easier to correct by message now than at the hotel door on the morning itself.

Paying on the day

Nothing is charged online, so no card details are needed to book. The price, from €580 for the whole yacht, is paid on the day in euros.

Bring the payment with you rather than planning a stop on the way, since the transfer collects you from your hotel. The price guide lists what that figure covers.

Changing your mind: the 48-hour rule

You can cancel without charge until 48 hours before the trip begins. That gives you room to book early for a fixed date, such as a birthday, and still step back if plans change.

Changing the date of a booking is not set out on this site; the agency's rules are in the legal pages. If you need to move your day, message us as early as you can and ask what is possible.

Weather, the sea and the captain's call

The captain makes the final call on the day, after looking at the sea and the weather. The route can change, a cave may be passed at a distance, or a swim stop may move to a calmer bay.

For anything beyond the 48-hour rule, such as what happens if a trip cannot go ahead, ask us before you book so you know where you stand.

Seasickness is worth a thought too. If anyone in the group is prone to it, mention it in the request and bring whatever they usually take. A quiet word in advance is easier than a difficult day at sea.

Booking for an occasion

A proposal, a birthday or an anniversary needs a little more in the request than a plain booking. Our celebration checklist lists everything worth asking in one message.

If the occasion is a secret, say so and tell us who must not see our replies; the guide to keeping it a surprise explains how.

For larger parties, check the count against the limit of 12 in the guest list guide, children included.

When everything is written down, send your request from the yacht page and keep the confirmation somewhere you can find it on the day.

More questions

How quickly is a booking request confirmed?

The team answers each request individually and confirms the booking and the pickup time. If your date is close, say so in the request or message us on WhatsApp.

Do I need to print anything for the day?

Keep the confirmation on your phone with the pickup time. Nothing else is needed apart from the payment in euros and your swim things.

Who decides if the trip goes ahead in poor weather?

The captain does, on the day itself, once the sea and the weather have been judged. If you have questions about what that means for your booking, ask us through the contact page.
