The age of the guest of honour matters less than the mix of people. A day on the water rewards groups who are happy to talk, swim and do very little in between, so think about the quieter guests as well as the lively ones when you decide.
The birthday touches: ask before you plan
Cake, candles and decorations are the obvious birthday questions, and none of them is part of the standard day, so ask us in your request what is possible on your date.
Please do not plan on bringing anything aboard until you have asked first. A short message in the booking request saves a difficult conversation at the harbour, and the team can tell you what will work.
Shaping the 6 hours around the birthday person
Tell the team who the day is for and what they enjoy. The captain fits the route and the swim stops to your group where sea and weather permit, so a keen snorkeller and a guest who prefers the deck can both have a good day.

Think about the moment you want to mark. You could gather everyone on deck at a swim stop to raise a glass of whatever was agreed in advance, or skip the ceremony and let the day itself be the present.

Booking a birthday date
Birthdays fall on fixed dates, so request early and keep the 48-hour free cancellation in mind if the group is still deciding. Nothing is paid online: once the team has confirmed the date and given you a pickup time, the yacht is paid for in euros on the trip day itself.

Is a yacht day a good idea for a child's birthday?
It can be, if the child likes the water and the group is small enough to fit within 12 guests in total. Children count as guests, so list each child's age in the request so we can confirm.
Can we bring something sweet for the birthday?
Ask us first, when you book. A cake is something the standard day does not include, and we would rather agree it with you in advance than have you carry something to the harbour that cannot come along.
What if the birthday falls on a day with rough sea?
The captain settles the route on the trip day itself, according to the sea and the weather. If you are worried about the date, ask us; cancelling costs nothing until 48 hours before the trip begins.
